Education, Research & Consultancy Center (ERCC) was founded in the year 2006 as the consortium of higher education lecturers with the aim to provide research, consultancy andtraining for enterprises, non-governmental organisations and public institutions. The main activity of ERCC is adult education. The geographical scope – Western Lithuania.
ERCC professionals and freelance trainers conduct practical workshops mainly on the following topics – effective communication (Public Communication, Social Media Communication & Etiquette, Communication through Drama Methods), Hospitality, Leadership, Team-building, Management of nongovernmental and volunteer organisations, Fundraising and project management, Andragogic Approach Towards Education.
In our trainings we are using participative and experiential teaching methods such as role play, storytelling, simulation, world café, coaching. Also we like creative and unusual teaching methods – art therapy, guided imagery, exercises with therapeutic dogs, games. ERCC team is always looking for new teaching methods for adults.
Half of adult educators of ERCC has PhD degree. The special interest of adult educators and researchers of ERCC is communication and intergenerational issues.
ERCC was initiator and coordinator of Nordplus Adult projects "Tourism Development Challenges in Nordic and Baltic Countries" (NordTourNet-1) and "Nordic-Baltic Tourism Learning – NordTourNet2" as well as of this current project NordTourNet-3. As the result of NordTourNet-2 project ERCC together with local municipality implemented training course for employees of tourism and wellness enterprises "Development Communicative Competence of Employees of Tourism and Wellness Companies When Dealing with Customers".
ERCC will bring to the project its experience of administration of international projects, professional knowledge about qualitative research, intergenerational and communications issues, experience in teaching adults of different ages (especially employees from tourism sector) and cultural background, collaboration with tourism companies and organisations.

TU - Turiba University (Biznesa augstskola Turiba), founded in 1993, is one of the leading HEIs in Latvia with a stable tradition and clear vision of common European educational space.
TU offers professional bachelor study programmes (EQF Level 6) in international tourism, events management, business administration, financial management, logistics, PR, international communication, law, journalism, security management, computer science; college education (EQF Level 5) in hotel and restaurant service, marketing, advertising, law, finances, security; professional master’s programmes (EQF Level 7) in tourism strategic management, business administration, PR, law and PhD programmes (EQF Level 8) in management science, law science, communication science. The languages of instruction are Latvian and English.
TU has received recognition of employers and ranked in the top position of the most recognized HEIs. 99.61% of graduates are employed (the highest employment rate among Latvian HEIs), more than 80% university students are employed already during their studies.
TU is labour market-oriented university (40% of the study time is connected with internships and practical training).
TU has a Lifelong Learning Department the aim of which is to promote the implementation of lifelong learning processes and enhancing the growth of intellectual capital of Latvian citizens in accordance with the LLL Strategy of Latvia, and Education Guidelines of Latvia and relevant EU recommendations and strategies. The department’s work areas:
1) by participating in various national projects promoting the development of the adult education system in the country;
2) through projects, open lectures/seminars enhance the upskilling of Latvian inhabitants;
3) by participating in work groups and conducting research develop the module-based approach to acquiring tertiary education.
TU has an Adult Education Centre that organises various courses for developing people’s competences for employability, self-development and wellbeing. They organise lots of short-term and long-term formal and non-formal courses. The Faculty of International Tourism organises the courses for tour guides annually.
TU has been admitted as member in UN World Tourism Organisation TEDQUAL accreditation which testifies the University quality standards and international cooperation.
Currently there are 3500 students from 43 countries. We have more than 15000 graduates. Our personnel are composed of more than 300 employees, 2/3 of which is teaching staff. Language Department is involved into NordTourNet-3 project. It is experienced in project work. During the last 7 years the staff of the Department have been directly involved in 20 international and national projects, most of them connected with creating teaching/learning materials. TU has been responsible for Dissemination and Valorisation Activity in 7 EU projects recently.
TU will bring to the project the professional knowledge in tourism and qualitative research, professional skills in preparation teaching materials and dissemination of project results. It is very important for the project strong relations of the university with tourism companiesof Latvia.

Mobilizing Expertise used to be called ProIFALL AB - the social enterprise from Sweden, which was partner in NordTourNet-2 project. Although organisation changed the name, the activity remained the same. Mexpertise has 5 main working areas - providing training, creating educational tools, mobilising volunteers to professionalism, project management, promoting entrepreneurship. Mexpertise works with a focus on Life-Long Learning realising the importance and value of continuous learning through the all life stages. By teaching young adults and adult migrants Mexpertise uses active and participative teaching methods: film-making, games, dances, Sensitization Training and creative drama. Swedish organisation is especially experienced in teaching methods of creative drama and games. Mexpertise believes that games have positive effect on teaching process and mastering of educational materials by learners of all ages.

The team of Mexpertise works with projects initiatives from their conception and initiation, till development, planning, control and its close. During Erasmus projects, such as NET NET (www.netnet-project.eu), Mexpertise together with other partners developed games, as educational tool.
